These shoes are made for walking

I was not just born in Catford. I started going places from here. Literally, it was at Ladywell fields were I learnt to walk. It was at that oddly shaped colourful playground where I practiced for months how to become an efficient walker.

Day after day I fell over and over again. I hurt my head, my face, my knees, and my bum. I hurt in places that I didn´t even know what they were called! But one day, I finally went from my very stylish crab crawling technique to walking. Ah, sweet freedom…
